Samsung is the most sought after electronics brand by Brazilians, according to a survey by Rank Certo, a digital marketing agency specializing in link building, made in partnership with the Publiup agency.The study analyzed the average monthly search volumes on the Ahrefs platform, used to measure the interest and purchase intention of consumers in the country.
The South Korean giant recorded 1.6 million monthly searches, surpassing Apple's 1.2 million and Xiaomi's 750 thousand.Motorola and Dell complete the ranking of the top five, with 680 thousand and 420 thousand searches, respectively.For Felipe Cardoso, founder of the rank Right Agency, responsible for the research, the idea is to make a reading of the market.
“This analysis is especially relevant in October, the month before Black Friday and marks the beginning of the period of greater competition in the electronic retail”, he says.
Historical rivalry and rise of Xiaomi
The dispute between Samsung and Apple has lasted more than a decade and is now also reflected in online searches.Since the launch of the iPhone in 2007 and the popularization of the Galaxy line, competition between the two companies has been setting the pace of innovation in the smartphone market.
In Brazil, Samsung stands out for offering a variety of models and price ranges, reaching different audiences. Apple, in turn, maintains consumer loyalty and a premium image sustained by its integrated ecosystem of products and services such as iCloud, Apple Watch and MacBook.
Xiaomi, third place, has established itself as an attractive alternative by combining good performance and affordable prices.The Chinese brand has been expanding its fan base in the country, especially among young people who value cost-benefit and modern design.

The result of the survey reflects a change in the Brazilian buying behavior. According to industry experts, the consumer is increasingly aware of the relationship between price, performance and brand reputation, factors that drive the search for information before the purchase decision.Emerging brands, such as Realme and Xiaomi, have been taking advantage of this movement, offering products with high performance and competitive values, while traditional giants continue to dominate the premium segment.
In the overall scenario, the ranking points to a heated and changing market, in which the digital presence and the ability to engage the public on online platforms have become decisive for the success of electronics brands in Brazil.
