Survey Sebrae shows that, although between 68% and 82% entrepreneurs participate in mentoring, courses and training programs, less than 20% can consistently apply what they learn in the routine of the company. The data exposes a structural bottleneck: knowledge is acquired, but does not become processes, metrics or operational changes.

For experts, the scenario shows a growing dysfunction in the business development ecosystem. The offer of events, immersions and mentoring increases year after year, but the ability of entrepreneurs to transform guidance into execution remains limited. The result is an accumulation of information without adherence to day to day just where business faces its greatest pressures.

Thiago Oliveira, founder of Saygo, and a specialist in structuring companies, he has observed this movement for years. According to him, the problem is not in the quality of mentoring, but in the lack of mechanisms that support the entrepreneur after learning.“O entrepreneur comes out energized from training, but goes back to an agenda that consumes all the time with operational tasks. It is in this clash between theory and routine that implementation dies”, he says.

Oliveira explains that the main pain reported by small business owners is the difficulty of creating clear systematic to apply new methods. “No lack of knowledge.Lack of structure to transform this knowledge into organizational habit. Without routine, learning is lost in a few days”, he says.

The conclusion of Sebrae reinforces a diagnosis already perceived within the productive sector itself: the problem is not access to information, but execution. According to the institution's analysis, most entrepreneurs participate in training in management, marketing or finance, but do not have tools that help monitor tasks, delegate responsibilities or integrate teams to new processes.

The impact of this gap appears in productivity indicators. Small companies that cannot implement what they learn live with rework, low financial predictability and decisions based on emergencies and not planning.Internal research also shows that operational overload is one of the main factors that prevent behavior change in organizations, even when the entrepreneur recognizes the need for adjustments.

For Oliveira, the next frontier of business development is precisely in the transition between learning and execution. “A mentoring cannot end in the classroom. She needs to continue within the company, with monitoring, method and technology that help turn intention into action. Without this, we will continue to train entrepreneurs who know what needs to be done, but can not do”, he concludes.

Embora a capacitação tenha avançado entre pequenos negócios, a prática ainda não acompanha o ritmo do aprendizado.
