5.0 Out of 5 stars Fun, Informative and FascinatingAmazon Exclusive Everything Store is an engaging book that explores the history and behind-the-scenes of Amazon, showing how the company has become a global e-commerce giant. The book combines journalistic storytelling with in-depth analysis of strategy, innovation, leadership and corporate culture, revealing bold decisions, internal challenges and Jeff Bezos' vision to transform retail and technology.
The great differential of the book is to balance information and entertainment: in addition to facts and figures, it brings curious stories and anecdotes that make reading engaging, even for those who do not closely follow the business world. Ideal for entrepreneurs, technology professionals or anyone interested in understanding the mechanisms that drive one of the largest companies in the world.

5.0 Out of 5 stars "Bezos wanted to personally approve each equation and track the results." (p.187)You can work for a long time, intensely and intelligently, but at Amazon.com you can only choose one of three options, said Paul Davis, a skeptic of Bezos' work-obsessed philosophy.
When Jeff noted this phrase, it "improved" as follows: You can work for a long time, intensely and smartly, but at Amazon you can't just choose two of these three options.
The story of the store of everything, as put by Bezos when asked about the book, still tells only the beginning of the story, perhaps without even reaching the climax yet. This work is fantastic, direct, instructive, rich, inspiring and well written. I did not consider it to be "white sheet", and in fact, I saw much of the rotten behind the smiling giant and his charismatic CEO (facing the cameras). But despite everything, I still found myself defending the follies and insanities of Jeff Bezos, as a young man at the beginning of the journey and discredited when it proposes new ideas of thinness of the "world of the raveness of the ravenous world as it puts the long as the ravenous of the ravenous of the rarest of the rapture of the book.
My final perception is that there are no bad intentions behind the little face, but there is also more innocence. The incredulity and challenges of innovation, and great maturity to see long-term projects and intelligently and big, made the history of Amazon an example of how the world is, and how to face it. For those who want to learn from the great, the book is a full plate, but no chewed lessons. The educational effect of the story is to strategically mature the reader, make it analytical and coherent (extremely about the environment that is found and must cross to see realized its project.
"Like Steve Jobs, Bezos gradually beat employees, investors and a public skeptical of fatigue, convincing them to think like him."

4.0 Out of 5 stars Very honest biographyThe book is a biography of Amazon.
It can be argued, however, that it is a biography of its founder, the visionary entrepreneur Jeff Bezos. The book gives information about his life, his childhood and his family.
The reason I say that the biography is more the company than its owner is because the great drama of most of the book is much more about the challenges faced by the company than the personal life of Bezos. Bezos' history was well documented in the book and the author was diligent and competent in his research, however I read the entire book and I think I learned a little reasonable about the history and vision of Amazon and that I know very little about the personal life of its founder.
This in itself is neither a positive nor a negative factor, just information.
The history of the company is, in fact, fascinating. It was a surviving company, a small one that competed with giants, which went through the dot-com crisis, of which few survivors remained and which dominated one market after another, with a thirst for incredible expansion. The company first dominated the retail of books over the internet, then the cloud computing service and the market of electronic readers. In addition, it began to compete not only with retailers, but with the book publishers themselves. The once bad luck is today the 15th richest person in the world, all this pursuing Bezos' tireless vision of providing the maximum possible value to the same practice, is the long-time to the customer.
The weak point of the book is the superficiality with which it deals with the expansion of the company. The author does not miss any of the biggest ventures BOOK retail, virtual store for third parties, cloud computing, distribution centers, kindle and aggressive acquisitions - but I feel that only a long book could get the amount of details about this whole saga. I believe that this book was written to be a best seller and that, therefore, it was not convenient to do it too long. I would have liked to read more.
The strong point: unlike most biographies of notable entrepreneurs, author Brad Stone does not sin by excessive reverence. On the contrary, he shows crudely how unethical Bezos is able to be with partners and competitors. Of course ethics is very questionable and that Bezos may be harming large companies for the benefit of the general public, but it is difficult to end the reading with such a romantic, naive view. The impression I had is that Bezos is able to trample anyone in favor of his goals and that if the large public comes to represent an obstacle, then it will also hurt.
This point of the book is worthy of much praise, because it is very common that biographies of great entrepreneurs are white sheet, praiseful, flattering. And the most likely truth is that almost no one reaches a very high level of success with noble spirit, but with a fierce competitiveness. This book does not make up the behaviors of Jeff Bezos.

Confused, disconnected and wordy.A rather difficult reading, given the lack of chronological flow of the narrator. The story is anachronistic and the associations become very difficult. The translation is poor, making the reading even less fluid.
