It's not just the Spanish who have reason to celebrate after last Sunday's final (19).\u00a0Netshoes, the largest sports lifestyle e-commerce in the country, recorded great results in sales of the main teams' shirts, with an increase of 94% in uniforms from its own stock (1p) compared to the 2022 edition. Even without having been classified for this year's World Cup, Italy was the champion in the increase in sales compared to the Qatar tournament, with an increase of 381%, followed by Spain (246%), Japan (239%) and Portugal (211%).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe had several reasons that explain this growth in terms of sales. One of them is the strategy of the sports equipment supplier that developed a more traditional line respecting the countries\u201d legacy and a lifestyle version with the rescue of the company's iconic logo. This variety of options contributed to other audiences that do not consume football-related items being interested in the products\u201c, says Thiago Bessa, football commercial manager at Netshoes. \u201dAnother factor that contributed to the good performance of uniform sales was the duration of the championship. With more days of competition, the teams' shirts remained in evidence for longer.\" <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fan response to Spain's performance also attracted attention. Sales of the champion mantle registered a jump of 787% on the day of the tournament final compared to the day before. Even with the runner-up finish, the Argentina team's shirts grew by\u00a0137%, on Monday (20), compared to the day of the final.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Top five<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When considering the sales performance of its own stock throughout the championship, Argentina was the great champion in 2026, concentrating 25% of shirt sales from all countries in e-commerce. Next, Japan (15%), Spain (14%), Germany (12%) and Italy (11%) appear. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even without participating in the tournament for three consecutive editions, the four-time champion team sold almost four times more uniforms in this competition than in 2022. \u201cThe Italy shirt is always one of the best-selling, regardless of the team's participation in the championship. In addition to the uniform attracting attention due to its beauty, the Italian community is very large in Brazil, which helps explain the growth in numbers.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
