This year, the expectation is that the date moves\u00a0<strong>R$22.14 billion<\/strong>\u00a0in retail sales and services, according to CNDL data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The study, which gathered sources such as the survey \u201cDia dos Namorados 2025\u201d by Globo &amp; PiniOn and data from CNDL\/SPC Brazil, highlights the role of digital influencers in the consumer journey. According to the survey, the,\u00a0<strong>78% of Brazilians consider the recommendations of content creators reliable<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>73% have already purchased products by indication of influencers<\/strong>, indices that exceed global averages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cInfluencers are no longer just part of the strategy: they are the main channel of inspiration and decision for the\u201d consumer, says Felipe Colaneri, co-founder of LOI.\u201cInfluence marketing is no longer something apart and has become central, especially on dates like Valentine's Day\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, the survey reveals that:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Beauty products, clothing and chocolates\/sweets<\/strong>\u00a0lead both among the most purchased items and among the most desired;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>O\u00a0<strong>average ticket intended<\/strong>\u00a0it is up to R$ 300, although almost half (46%) associate expensive gifts with the demonstration of importance in the relationship;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>62% of consumers prefer physical stores<\/strong>, mainly by ease of exchange;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Despite this, the\u00a0<strong>e-commerce remains relevant<\/strong>, with 73% of online shoppers opting for apps and 22% considering even Instagram as a buying platform;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Buying behavior is starting to intensify\u00a0<strong>between 15 days and one week before the date<\/strong>, highlighting last minute purchases, a direct reflection of the search pattern on Google.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Another data that draws attention is the growth in sales observed in 2024, with an increase of\u00a0<strong>4.9% in total<\/strong>\u00a0during the commemorative date, the\u00a0<strong>e-commerce the big highlight, with high of 15.5% in billing<\/strong>, according to the Cielo de Varejo Index Extended. Among the segments that grew the most are optical and jewelry (+19,1%) and cosmetics (+9,6%), reinforcing the strength of these markets at the time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The study also shows the weight of the influence of the gift recipient in the purchase process: a\u00a0<strong>most consumers rely on tips from the person to be presented<\/strong>\u00a0when deciding what to buy.
