Luiza Helena Trajano, president of the Board of Directors of Magazine Luiza and president of the Women of Brazil Group, was appointed by the Spanish consultancy Merco, for the ninth year in a row, as the business leader with the best reputation in the country.<\/p>

The result is the 12th edition of the Corporate Reputation and Leaders Ranking 2025 launched in Brazil. Merco performs the reference corporate monitors in 16 countries in Latin America and Europe, where it has been evaluating the reputation of companies since 2000.<\/p>

In addition to Luiza Helena, the following business leaders complete the list of the top ten: Fabio Barbosa, from Natura (2nd); Cristina Junqueira, from Nubank (3rd); Fabio Coelho, from Google (4th); Guilherme Leal, from Natura (5th); Milton Maluhy Filho, from Itau Unibanco (6th); Fernando Yunes, from Mercado Livre (7th); Guilherme Benchimol, from XP Investimentos (8th); Tania Cosentino, Ferreira (9th); joao Ferreira (1st).<\/p>

Niece of the founders of Magazine Luiza, Luiza Trajano Donato and Pelegrino Donato, Luiza Helena, began working in the company at the age of 12, going through all departments, from collection to management, from sales to commercial direction. In 1991 she assumed the oversight of the company and was responsible for the leap in innovation and growth that placed Magazine Luiza, in the following decades, among the largest retailers in Brazil.<\/p>

In 2013, Luiza Helena created, along with other female leaders, the Women of Brazil Group, which today brings together nearly 140 thousand participants in the country and also abroad. She is also one of the founders of the Institute for Retail Development (IDV) and advisor in several companies, in addition to acting on the Board of several entities and developing actions aimed at ESG.<\/p>

The ranking of the leaders with the best reputation in the country is drawn from a survey of directors of companies that earn more than R$ 200 million in the country. Of all the nominees, the 100 best ranked are subjected to the analysis of experts who evaluate communication skills, strategic vision and management capacity, business vision, innovation, encouragement of ethical behaviors and corporate social responsibility, talent and international projection. In addition to directors, financial analysts, economic journalists, communication directors, opinion leaders and university professors from the areas of administration and business are also interviewed.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
