C6 Bank, a Brazilian bank partnered with JPMorgan Chase, reported a net profit of R$ 2.5 billion in 2025, an 8.5% increase compared to 2024. In the second half of last year, net profit was R$ 1.41 billion, representing a 35% increase compared to the previous semester. Return on equity (ROE) was 45% for the year.
“The 2025 balance sheet demonstrates the solidity and consistency of our business model and clearly shows the bank's ability to present an ROE above 40%,” says Marcelo Kalim, CEO of C6 Bank.
The efficiency ratio, which is the relationship between operating expenses and net revenue, fell from 57% in 2024 to 45% last year, reflecting the operational leverage that the bank's structure provides.
Net revenue grew 15% between 2024 and 2025, ending last year at R$ 9.2 billion. During the same period, operating expenses decreased by 9%, to R$ 4.2 billion. Expenses related to provisions for doubtful debts (PDD) closed the year at R$ 2.5 billion, a 32% increase compared to 2024, due to the growth of the loan portfolio and the effects of CMN Resolution No. 4,966.
The expanded loan portfolio closed 2025 at R$ 89.3 billion, a 49% increase compared to 2024. The bank also recorded an increase in fundraising. C6 Bank's funding base grew 36% between December 2024 and December 2025, from R$ 79.4 billion to R$ 108.3 billion.
The default rate was 2.9% in 2025, compared to 2.6% in 2024. Excluding the impact of CMN Resolution No. 4,966, the rate of loans with arrears of 90 days or more would be 2.0% in December 2025. The low default rate results from the quality of the loan portfolio built by the bank over time, in which 80% corresponds to secured loans, mainly payroll loans and vehicle financing.
“Congratulations to C6 Bank for achieving solid results for the second consecutive year. Their consistent growth reflects the commitment and innovative spirit of the team,” says Mark O'Donovan, CEO of International Consumer Banking at JPMorganChase.
With 40 million customers, C6 Bank – which operates in the areas of individuals, legal entities, wholesale, vehicles, home equity and payroll loans – has a portfolio of more than 100 products, services and features. In addition to current accounts, cards and a points program, the bank offers a global account with balances in dollars and euros and a platform that allows investing in assets in Brazil and abroad, all in the same app.
