Mulheres Positivas (Positive Women), an ecosystem focused on the personal and professional development of women, founded by Fabi Saad, continues its international agenda of in-person meetings and is promoting the Ornare Mulheres Positivas NYC Person of the Year event. Aimed at female executives, the event will be the only one focused on a female audience during Brazil Week 2026 and will take place on May 12th at the Ornare showroom in the A&D Building, New York City, USA.
The event will honor seven women who stand out through their work and contributions. Among them are the president of the Board of Directors of Magazine Luiza and founder of the Women of Brazil Group, Luiza Helena Trajano; the vice-president of the Women of Brazil Group and creator of the Dona de Mim Fund, Sônia Hess; and the founding partner and president of the Legend Group, Daniella Marques, former president of Caixa Econômica Federal (2022–2023), where she helped strengthen female entrepreneurship through the Caixa Pra Elas program.
Also to be honored are businesswoman Rachel Maia, recognized for her work in corporate governance, diversity and inclusion; the founder and CEO of the NGO Amigos do Bem, Alcione Albanesi; the CEO of the Blue Tree Hotels chain, Chieko Aoki; and the CEO of Safra National Bank, Simoni Morato.
“Holding the eighth Women Positive event in New York is a source of pride and symbolizes the strength of a network that is growing and gaining increasing global relevance. This edition is especially significant in honoring women whose transformative journeys inspire and pave the way for so many others,” says Fabi Saad.
With coverage from Record News, the event will bring together approximately 70 female executives and entrepreneurs, promoting an environment of exchange and connections among female leaders. Camila Moraes, director of journalism at Record News, highlights the broadcaster's partnership in the event: “Mulheres Positivas (Positive Women) is a project we are proud to be a part of. Giving visibility to so many influential professionals is also a mission of the broadcaster, which is committed to bringing more and more representation to the job market and business. When women see themselves in this prominent position on open TV, on a national network, we change their perception of the world and their positioning in society.”.
The initiative also reinforces the role of Mulheres Positivas (Positive Women) as a platform for visibility and recognition for women who make an impact in different sectors of society.
With over 500,000 downloads, a presence in countries such as Brazil, the United States, Italy, Mexico, Colombia, and the United Arab Emirates, and a network of 220 partner companies, Mulheres Positivas (Positive Women) has established itself as one of the leading Brazilian-origin women's impact ecosystems with international reach, connecting content, employability, business, and social transformation.
