Brazilian startup transforms videos into direct sales channels and redefines the way to buy and sell via e-commerce

In a scenario where consumer attention lasts only a few seconds, relying on clicks and redirects to external pages can be the biggest bottleneck for an e-commerce. It was with the aim of eliminating this friction that LIS Play was born. Launched in 2024, the Brazilian startup utilizes national technology 100% developed by its technical team. In the meantime, it is already among the 1000 most innovative startups in Brazil. Its operation is disruptive, transforming videos into interactive sales platforms, allowing purchases to be made as products appear, without the consumer being directed to external sites or platforms.

Furthermore, LIS has evolved its model and now also operates as a video commerce marketplace, integrating not only the shopping experience but the entire transaction infrastructure. The company offers complete solutions that include payment methods and its own logistics, with full fulfillment operations and fast deliveries, consolidating an end-to-end ecosystem for brands and consumers.

“The result is a smoother journey, with a positive impact on conversion rates. The logic of traditional e-commerce, which uses videos as a support tool, is still based on interruption. This means that the consumer needs to stop watching to access the link to the sales platform, whatever it may be. In the case of LIS, we reverse this: the purchase happens within the experience, making it complete. Thus, we take advantage of the moment's impulse,” explains Ana Medici, CEO and founder of LIS Play.

She further adds: “The consumer no longer just wants to buy, but to understand, interact, and decide quickly. In this context, video ceases to be just a communication tool and becomes a direct conversion channel. The journey, previously fragmented, becomes continuous. For companies, this means more efficiency and better results. For the consumer, a more intuitive and uninterrupted experience. The purchase decision today happens at the moment of connection. When you break this flow, you lose the sale. Our role is to ensure that this does not happen anymore.”.

Democratization of the tool: from content to conversion, without friction

According to Ana, LIS was born thinking of small and medium-sized businesses that have little budget for advertising and rely on social media as their main marketing tool. However, the company has also been gaining scale among large brands — especially with the evolution to a more complete sales infrastructure model.

“We have packages of different values and the tool is simple and intuitive. Customers log in to our platform, upload videos, register products, and generate a link that can be distributed on social media or via WhatsApp, for example. In addition, with our marketplace model, we are able to offer a complete solution, with integrated checkout, payment methods, and logistics, including our full fulfillment operation. This way, videos transform into complete sales infrastructures, connecting content, data, and transactions in a single flow,” he explains.

Another important point is that, in addition to interactivity, LIS solutions deliver real-time intelligence about consumer behavior, allowing companies to understand how, when, and why their customers decide to buy. This model directly addresses historical challenges of digital retail, such as cart abandonment, low conversion, and lack of visibility into the user journey.

Starting in 2026, the company will begin a new strategic phase focused on an AI First model, using artificial intelligence to deepen the understanding of audiovisual behavior, personalize experiences, and optimize purchasing decisions in real time. Even though it is recent, the startup already shows consistent signs of growth. Since its launch, 35 clients have already used the platform, and the expectation is to scale rapidly in the coming years.
