“A partnership with Amazon has a strategic role to expand the access of women entrepreneurs to the digital market in Brazil. Over the years, we have built together initiatives that not only empower, but also generate real opportunities for growth and financial autonomy. We remain committed to strengthening this ecosystem and expanding the impact for more and more women throughout the country”, says Ana Fontes, founder and CEO of RME.
The Decola Garota trainings can be followed by everyone, but the program is aimed mainly at entrepreneurs who already have CNPJ, work with physical products and have potential for scale, especially those who do not yet have an account on Amazon or have a recent profile on the platform.
More than 500 women have already gone through the project. Already in this 6th edition, the proposal is to further democratize access to knowledge and ensure immediate applicability of learning, with priority for the scalability of the participants' businesses, even after the end of the learning journey.
With the new edition, RME and Amazon reinforce the commitment to training, access to the digital market and income generation as ways to strengthen businesses led by women. The expectation is that the sixth edition of Decola Garota will contribute to consolidate the female presence in Brazilian e-commerce.
