Course on Solid Waste Management for the elaboration of the PGRS

Waste Management Legislation, PGRS/PGRSS/PGRCC, MTR and Reverse Logistics
Updated according to NBR 10.004:24 Standard for the Classification of Solid Waste
Assuming that the PGRS ^ Solid Waste Management Plan it is the documented form of Waste Management which meets all legal regulations and aggregates the best operational practices, this course aims to provide the necessary knowledge to implement the correct management and preparation of the PGRS in accordance with Article 21 of the PNRS 'National Solid Waste Policy.
In this training we will also provide the basic knowledge needed to elaboration of the PGRSS (Health Service Waste Management Plan) and PGRCC (Construction Waste Management Plan).
The Solid Waste Management Course for the creation of the PGRS has been updated with the Ordinance no. 280, of June 29, 2020, of the Ministry of the Environment, which established the Manifesto for the Transport of Waste (MTR) as a management tool and document of national declaration of implementation and operationalization of the solid waste management plan. Its use will be mandatory from January 1, 2021. We will also discuss the SIGOR tool of CETESB.
Objective
The course presents the theory and proposes exercises for waste management and compliance with updated legislation throughout Brazil;
Application areas: industry, trade and service, health facilities and construction.

It contemplates the New Decree 10.936 of 12/01/2022 Regulating the National Policy on Solid Waste 12305 of 2010, PNRS, Law 12305. CETESB Board Decision 130/2022/P (Reference for the preparation of the PGRS) and ABNT 17100-1 June/2023 1 Waste Management.
Methodology
- Expository class with examples and models developed according to the experience of the instructor with more than 20 years in the area
- With exercises: interpretation of characterization report (NBR 10.004:2024), classification according to IBAMA 13/2012, preparation of PGRS, PGRSS and PGRCC and understanding of Reverse Logistics CETESB & PNRS.

External Transport
- Legal liability of the consignor in transport, classification of waste for transport (shipment name, UN number, risk class, packing group), signalling of cargo vehicles (risk label and safety panel, check list of vehicles). . Resolutions for transport: ANTT 5232, 5848, etc, 5947 and the most current 5998/2022.

Instructor
Full Chemical Engineer, Master in Chemical and Biochemical Processes with emphasis on Environment by the Maua Institute of Technology & IMT with Postgraduate Degree in Industrial Administration from Vanzolini/USP and in Safety Engineering from Candido Mendes University.
Career developed in large multinationals, has expertise in projects involving the management of common and hazardous waste, having implemented audits and training ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, compliance with environmental regulations, supplier evaluation, industrial waste management plan, circular economy and reverse logistics.
Invited professor in the postgraduate courses in Solid Waste Management and Environmental Management of SENAC Sao Paulo.
