After Series B round, NG.CASH hires former Google director Brian Zaki to lead People's team

NG.CASH announces the arrival of Brian Zaki's as the new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). The executive takes the leadership of the people area at a key moment of the company, which, after capturing a Series B round, is preparing to expand its organizational structure, with the goal of expanding the team from about 80 to more than 120 employees throughout 2026.

With over 25 years of experience in People, Culture, Talent and Organizational Development in global companies, Brian has built his career in contexts of accelerated growth Google, served as Director of People Operations and Recruiting, being responsible for about 10% of the company's global volume of hires in a period in which Google admitted approximately 50 thousand people per year 50 thousand people equivalent to direct supervision of about 5 thousand annual hires. In this context, he led the design of hiring engines, leadership calibration systems and organizational processes aimed at sustaining large-scale growth.

According to the executive, as the company reaches a new level of maturity, people strategy begins to play a central role in sustaining growth. “When a startup reaches this level of traction, the People area ceases to be support and becomes a competitive advantage. Well-designed systems, clear processes and a strong culture are key to sustaining growth in the long term. This is what I intend to focus my” performance, he says.

Zaki also highlights his personal motivation to join a company focused on generation Z. “As a father of two teenagers, it encourages me to be part of a company that really understands and prioritizes the needs of the next generation (an audience historically underserved by traditional financial institutions.NG.CASH is redefining how financial products can be built with and for this public”, he concludes.

Round Series B

NG.CASH raised US$ 26.5 million (about R$ 150 million) in a round B‘ series held in the second half of 2025. The capital will be allocated to the expansion of credit products aimed at young people who reach the age of majority. The round was led by the NEA, American venture capital manager founded in 1977, with investments in companies such as Robinhood, Coursera, Duolingo and Perplexity.
