Black Friday 2025 is on track to be one of the biggest ever recorded in the country. According to the National Confederation of Retail Leaders (CNDL), Brazilian retail is expected to generate R$ 13.34 billion in sales during this year's Black Friday, solidifying the date as one of the main drivers of consumption on the national calendar.
In Santa Catarina, Koerich, one of the state's largest retail chains, took the lead and launched its campaign on November 1st, anticipating offers and extending the shopping period. The strategy is already showing results: items such as refrigerators, air conditioners, and Smart TVs have seen up to a 20% increase in demand compared to October.
With over 130 physical stores spread across 60 cities and a strong e-commerce presence, the chain is betting on a combination of variety, efficient logistics, and differentiated payment options. "Purchases made during Black Friday can be paid in installments with payments starting only in 2026," highlights Eduardo Koerich, the company's commercial director. According to him, the expectation is for a 10% increase in sales compared to last year.
Optimism is supported by state data. A survey by Fecomércio-SC reveals that residents of Santa Catarina are willing to spend more in 2025. The average purchase intention reaches R$ 1,659 per consumer, and the peak of promotions is expected to occur on November 28th, the last Friday of the month. The study, conducted in seven cities, also shows that the intention to consume has grown by 12% compared to 2024. Considering inflation, the real increase is 7%.
Beyond the payment options, Koerich reinforces the credibility built over the years, especially in fast and secure delivery: a key factor for those looking to enjoy the holiday without any setbacks.
“In recent years, we have noticed that consumers are increasingly informed and demanding. Anticipating Black Friday is a way to offer peace of mind, fair prices, and the security of buying from a network they trust. For 2025, our projection is for one of the best performances of the decade, driven by a strong operation, agile logistics, and conditions that truly make a difference in family budgets,” concludes Eduardo Koerich.
