US Media, a leading media solutions hub in the Americas, expands its commercial leadership in Brazil with the arrival of Celso David and Danilo Cordeiro. The former assumes the role of Vevo Ads Sales Director – Brazil, responsible for leading Vevo's commercial operations in the country, while the latter will serve as Cencosud Sales & Partnerships Director – Brazil, leading the company's partnership with Cencosud Media. These appointments reinforce US Media's strategy of accelerating the growth of two of its key partners and consolidating its presence in the premium video and retail media markets.
With nearly 20 years of experience in the media, advertising, and business development markets, Celso David has witnessed different stages of the sector's transformation, from broadcast television to the expansion of digital media and streaming. Having worked at SBT and Record, the executive takes on the challenge of strengthening Vevo's commercial positioning in Brazil, developing projects aligned with advertisers' needs, and expanding the use of music as a means of connection between brands and consumers.
“Along with football, music is one of the few forms of content capable of mobilizing millions of people at the same time. It connects, evokes emotion, and creates unique opportunities for brands to get closer to their audience. I see enormous potential to bring advertisers and agencies even closer to this universe through Vevo,” says Celso David.
Danilo Cordeiro, for his part, built his career in the areas of business development, trade marketing, and retail media, connecting brands, agencies, and retailers through data-driven strategies. With experience at MegaMidia and GPA, the executive's main challenge will be to consolidate Cencosud Media as a benchmark in the Brazilian market, structuring long-term commercial relationships and expanding the operation's reach with endemic and non-endemic advertisers.
“I want to contribute to consolidating Cencosud Media as one of the main references in Retail Media in Brazil, expanding relationships with agencies and advertisers and showcasing the potential of its qualified audience for brands in different segments,” highlights Danilo Cordeiro.
US Media has been expanding its portfolio of global publishers and investing in a more specialized operation, capable of connecting its partners' assets to the local needs of brands and agencies.
“Celso and Danilo are joining to strengthen two strategic fronts at US Media. With their experience, we are confident that they will expand the potential of Vevo and Cencosud Media in Brazil, bringing our partners even closer to the advertising market,” says Carolina Tuttoilmondo, Sales VP of US Media Brazil.
