Brazil registers the highest number of new companies in April, according to Serasa Experian

According to the Serasa Experian Business Birth Indicator, 396,802 new businesses were created in April. Besides being the highest number recorded since the beginning of the historical series in January 2010, this volume represents a 32.7% increase compared to the same month in 2023. See below for data from the last 12 months:

“The dynamic business environment and government policies supporting entrepreneurship have stimulated the opening of new companies. The acceleration of digital transformation also allows many entrepreneurs to start their activities with less need for initial capital and face reduced barriers to entry. To maintain the financial health of businesses, it is essential to have access to adequate resources, assertive guidance, and a solid infrastructure to sustain long-term growth and avoid the risks of insolvency,” analyzes Cleber Genero, Vice President of Small and Medium Enterprises at Serasa Experian.
