THE Pipedrive, easy and smart CRM for small and medium-sized businesses, launches new project management and communication capabilities designed to help sales teams manage customer relationships and after-sales execution more effectively, on a single platform.
As sales teams grow, the transition from a closed business to a successful delivery is often delayed by disconnected tools and loss of information. Pipedrive's latest release solves this by bringing after-sales execution directly into the CRM.
“Sales do not stop when a business is closed”, says Joe Futty, Chief Product and Technology Officer (CPTO) at Pipedrive.“We believe that by freeing sales teams from the burden of disconnected tools, they can reach their maximum performance potential. These updates aim to give professionals confidence that their after-sales delivery is as exceptional as their initial pitch”
Going beyond business with Projects
For many sales teams, the transition from sales to delivery remains a blind“ to” transfer, which often leads to lost context and operational inefficiencies Pipedrive Projects brings after-sales project management directly to CRM, helping teams keep pace after the deal closes.
New features include:
- Briefings of AI-generated projects: reduce manual processes by automatically extracting appointments, notes, and files from sales history;
- Project Insights: provide teams with greater visibility into project activity, workloads, and overall progress;
- Interactive Gantt charts: help teams identify bottlenecks and adjust schedules as priorities change;
- Projects on mobile: ensures teams have access to tasks and updates via the app, allowing them to track progress and maintain alignment.
“Before, we operated five different funnels just to manage our” delivery cycles, explains Justin Smith, President of Boost Transport. .“O Projects helps us bring everything together in one place. Trigger integration models (onboarding) With pre-assigned tasks saved our team hours every week.”
Making automation more reliable
As companies automate more sales processes, maintaining visibility into workflow performance becomes increasingly important. Pipedrive has introduced enhanced automation monitoring capabilities that help teams spend less time managing systems and more time focusing on customers
- Trust and visibility panel: helps teams monitor automation performance and identify issues early;
- Workflow integrity monitoring: detects bottlenecks, failed automations, and inefficient processes before they impact operations or the customer experience.
- Bringing WhatsApp conversations to CRM
Sales teams increasingly rely on WhatsApp to communicate with customers, but many of these conversations remain disconnected from CRM. The new integration allows teams to manage WhatsApp messages directly within the CRM, automatically linking chats to deals, contacts, and leads
- Respond faster no switching between tools, keeping conversations flowing more efficiently;
- Standardize follow-ups (follow-ups) using automated templates and workflows, making communication more consistent and reducing the loss of next steps;
- Keep the context of the conversation across all sales and after-sales interactions, improving visibility into customer history and collaboration across teams.
Integration with WhatsApp is currently available in open beta for customers on Growth plans and above. Customers interested in viewing upcoming features and product updates can participate in the pipedrive Beta Program to gain early access to features in development.
