Solo Iron, the cybersecurity unit of Solo Network, announced a strategic partnership with Akamai to offer the Brazilian market a complete operation for protecting web applications and APIs, combining leading global technology with managed security services, continuous monitoring, and structured incident response.
The partnership aims to combine Solo Iron's expertise in managed security operations with Akamai's technology to deliver a complete, risk-driven web application and API protection solution to the market, supported by structured processes. The proposal goes beyond the adoption of tools, integrating continuous monitoring, specialized analysis, and incident response into a single operational model.
With Akamai, Solo Iron incorporates application protection technologies and APIs into its portfolio that directly mitigate automated attacks, vulnerability exploitation, logic abuse, and denial-of-service attempts. These resources are operated and contextualized by the Solo Iron team, within a methodology based on recognized frameworks such as OWASP, NIST, CIS, MITRE, and NIST SP 800-61.
For Akamai, the regional scenario demands a deeper and more integrated approach. “The region is experiencing a consistent increase in the sophistication of attacks targeting web applications and APIs.
