Onfly bets on Pix as a payment method and reaches R$2.9 million in transactions in four months

Aiming for efficiency in financial processes and a better customer experience, since April 2024 Onfly, the largest B2B travel tech company in Latin America, has integrated Pix as a new payment solution option within its platform. In just four months, the company recorded more than R$ 2.9 million transacted through this payment method in purchase operations involving corporate travel expenses.

The volume of payments via Pix accounts for 5.5% of the total transactions on the platform, which also offers payment options via credit card and cash withdrawals. The travel tech company expects that R$10 million will be transacted via Pix by April 2025.

Among the sectors that have most embraced the use of Pix, transportation companies, information technology companies, mining, civil engineering, and agribusiness stand out

“These sectors have benefited from the speed provided by this form of payment, as it significantly expands the acceptance of payments in establishments throughout the country. Another important factor is the transparency in accounting, since the transaction via Pix automatically generates an expense on our platform, Expense, which includes the recipient's identification, the amount, and the date and time of the transaction,” explains Marcelo Linhares, CEO of Onfly.
